Frequently Asked Questions

Is a deposit required? Only for groups (See our cancellation policy). No deposit is required for individuals.  The amount required for deposit varies with size of group and length of stay.

 

How is payment handled? Payment is made upon or before arrival by either cash or check.  We do not accept credit cards.

 

What is your cancellation policy? To reserve dates for a group, a contract must be signed and sent to us along with a deposit (the amount of the deposit varies with group size and length of stay).  If the retreat is cancelled, the deposit will not be returned, but there is no additional cancellation fee.  No deposit is required for individuals.
Do you have a projector/screen? Yes, we have a power-point projector and screen

 

Do you provide Mass in your chapel? Mass is provided for groups upon request.  St. Matthew’s Church, which is contiguous to Avila’s property, is also a great option as it provides Mass nearly every day.  Follow this link to view St. Matthew’s weekly Mass schedule http://www.stmatthewcc.org/standard.cfm?Page=87

 Do you provide vegetarian meals? Yes, we do our best to accommodate vegetarians as long as we have that information when numbers are confirmed a week before the retreat.

 

Do we need to bring any linens/towels? No, but please bring all toiletries because we do not provide the little shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles or hair dryers.
