EDGEBROOK: Life, Loss, & Healing Workshop

Thurs Oct 26, 3 pm through Sun Oct 29, 11 am

We have all lost someone or something. In addition to the death of loved ones, we may lose health, relationships, pets, jobs, homes and even our childhood. This ecumenical workshop is an opportunity to explore the losses in our lives in a safe, confidential and accepting setting. This is not a weekend for quiet reflection, but rather an opportunity to experience the intensity of our feelings and learn safe ways to express them.   For many, it is the first step in recovering from old, deep seated wounds, as well as from current traumas and loss. Underlying this process is a belief in unconditional love and acceptance. For more information about this retreat please visit www.edgebrook.org or contact Mike Yow (336) 540-8532 or email: myow4@triad.rr.com

Three things we don’t get enough of! Welcome YOUR New Year by giving yourself a weekend to consciously immerse in all three: Art, Spirituality and Rest. Has your spirit been moved while doodling, staring out a window, being in a group of like-minded souls? This weekend allows the time and space to experience all these.

No art experience is required for this guided and exploratory retreat! All art materials provided.

Presenter: Claudia Fulshaw – a Durham graphic designer, entrepreneur, artist and art retreat/workshop facilitator. Please contact Claudia at cfdesign19@aol.com or 919-306-2919 for more information and registration.
